What is hickory hollow mall?

Hickory Hollow Mall was a two-level shopping mall located in Antioch, Tennessee. It opened in 1976 and was anchored by Sears, JCPenney, Dillard's, and Macy's. The mall featured a variety of retail stores, restaurants, and a food court.

Over the years, Hickory Hollow Mall faced challenges due to changing consumer preferences, online shopping, and increased competition from other retail centers. As a result, many stores closed, leading to a decline in foot traffic and the overall condition of the mall.

In 2012, plans were announced to redevelop the mall into a mixed-use center called "The Crossings at Hickory Hollow." This redevelopment included a focus on adding new residential, retail, and entertainment options to the site.

Today, the former Hickory Hollow Mall site has been transformed into a vibrant mixed-use development with a focus on community engagement and economic revitalization. The Crossings at Hickory Hollow now includes a blend of residential housing, retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment options.
